What is Click to Pay?

This new payment solution from Visa makes online business payments even safer and easier. With Click to Pay, you no longer need to enter your long credit card number, expiration date and CVV/CVC code at checkout. Instead, your details are retrieved from a secure profile with Visa.

Security first

When paying with Click to Pay, no credit card details are shared directly with online shops, only a secure, substituted code (token) is used. This reduces the risk of fraud in the event of a data breach and provides additional protection during the payment process.

How to activate Click to Pay

  1. Open the ICS Business app, go to 'Card' and select 'Click to Pay'
  2. Check your name, address and contact details
  3. Accept the Terms and Conditions, and you're ready!

How to pay with Click to Pay

  1. Choose Click to Pay when you check out in an online shop. Look for the Click to Pay logo:
  2. Enter your email address or mobile number registered with ICS, so your Click to Pay profile can be recognised.
  3. Enter the verification code sent to you by SMS or email, if requested. This verifies your identity.
  4. Confirm your payment via the app or with your 3D Secure password, if requested.

  • Where can I pay with Click to Pay?

    Click to Pay is a new online payment solution. Not all online shops offer this service yet, but the number is growing quickly. In shops where it is available, you will see the Click to Pay logo during checkout.

  • Can anyone use Click to Pay?

    Yes, every employee within the company can activate Click to Pay on their credit card. Each person creates their own profile via the ICS Business app.

  • What should I pay attention to when paying with Click to Pay?

    With Click to Pay, your payment is completed in just a few clicks. Always check that you are confirming the correct products and amount. The payment with Click is completed faster, so it is extra important to stay alert. This helps you avoid unintended payments and keep control of expenses.

  • Why is Click to Pay more secure than other online payments?

    With Click to Pay, the online shop only receives a unique, temporary replacement code from Visa. Your actual credit card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC code remain in your profile with Visa and are never shared with the shop. In case of a data breach or phishing, scammers  cannot use this replacement code. This keeps your company's credit card details safe.

  • How do I update my details for Click to Pay?

    When you create your Click to Pay profile, the address, credit card and contact details known to ICS are used. In some cases, this is the company address. Please note: this cannot be changed. During checkout in the online shop, you may need to manually adjust the delivery address.

    Are your personal details in your Click to Pay profile and have you moved, or did you get a new number? This is how you can change your details:

    1. Open the ICS Business app or My ICS Business, go to your Account and open your 'Contact details'
    2. Click on edit and enter your new details
    3. Your details will be updated automatically in your Click to Pay profile

     

  • How do I remove Click to Pay from my credit card?

    1. Open the ICS Business app, go to 'Card' and select 'Click to Pay'
    2. Select the credit card and click 'Remove credit card' at the bottom
    3. If this is the only credit card you have registered for Click to Pay, your Click to Pay profile will also be deleted

  • What happens if the credit card is renewed?

    If you receive a new credit card, your credit card details will be updated automatically. This also applies if you receive a new credit card  because it was lost or stolen.

  • I receive an error message when trying to activate Click to Pay. What should I do?

    There are two common reasons for this error:

    1. You have a Mastercard with a foreign address
    For some Cardholders with an address outside the Netherlands, activating Click to Pay is currently not possible. The reason for this is still unknown. We are working on a solution. Please try again in a week.

    2. You are trying to activate Click to Pay on a second ICS credit card, and your phone number or email address are the same
    Do you have more than one credit card from ICS? For example, a business credit card and a personal credit card, a Main Card and an Extra Card or credit cards from our partners such as ABN AMRO or ANWB. In that case, activating Click to Pay on the second credit card may not work.
    This happens when one of the contact details is the same (for example your email address), but another detail is not (for example your phone number). Click to Pay is then unable to create a second profile.
    You can solve this issue in two ways:

    1. Use the same phone number and email address for all your credit cards
    2. Use different contact details for each credit card (a different email address and phone number)
