What is Visa Spend Clarity?

Visa Spend Clarity is an expense management solution from Visa linked to the Travelcard Business. This solution gives you complete insight and control over your company's expenses. You can easily run reports and analyses about your business credit card expenses. And split transactions and export them to Excel. It is also very easy for your Cardholders to upload photos of their receipts and match them to the correct credit card expenses in Visa's app.

Who can use Visa Spend Clarity?

Visa Spend Clarity is meant for companies that want more insight in their company expenses. They can do that by running reports and analyses, but also matching receipts to specific expenses.

There are several roles within Visa Spend Clarity for Business:

1. Company administrator

   A company administrator has access to your company details and can change them. An administrator can register other employees and assign them roles. A company can have multiple company administrators. Only the first administrator to activate Visa Spend Clarity, needs a Travelcard Business Card number. When registering additional administrators, a Card number is not necessary.

2. Company auditor

   A company auditor has access to your company details but cannot change them. This person cannot register other users or run reports. A company can have multiple company auditors. An auditor does not need a Travelcard Business to register.

3. Cardholder

   A Cardholder can only see their own credit card details, not the details of the whole company. This person can use the Visa Spend Clarity app to match receipts to credit card expenses. You need a Travelcard Business Card number to register as Cardholder.

How does Visa Spend Clarity work?

Preparation

• Choose your company administrator

The first company administrator to register will be your company's point of contact for Visa Spend Clarity. Most companies choose the person responsible for processing and analysing business expenses.

• Activate Visa Spend Clarity

The company administrator activates Visa Spend Clarity by creating an account. The credit card details of your company's Travelcard Business are required for this.

• Register more employees

This is also done by the company administrator. Want to get the most out of Visa Spend Clarity? Make sure to register all your Cardholders. That way, you will have all your Cardholders' expenses in one place. And it will allow all of your Cardholders to upload photos of their receipts in the app.
Apart from Cardholders, the company administrator can also register additional administrators or auditors.

Use

• Match receipts to expenses in the app

Cardholders can do this in the Visa Spend Clarity app. Here they can upload photos of their receipts and match them to the correct expenses.

• Run reports and analyses and export them to Excel

A company administrator can do this on Visa's website. This can be done per employee or by cost type.

How much does Visa Spend Clarity cost?

Do you already have a Travelcard Business or Travelcard Business Gold? Then Visa Spend Clarity comes at no extra cost. Visa Spend Clarity is included in the annual fee you pay for your Visa credit card.
